Brandon Sherman (Private Brass) a native of Southern California, has been performing music for over 20 years starting with violin and piano at age 4 and moving on to trumpet, French horn, and trombone in later years. He received his Bachelor of Music Degree from The University of Nevada, Reno and his Master of Fine Arts Degree in Jazz Studies from The California Institute of the Arts. As an educator Brandon has functioned as a private trumpet instructor, an improvisation teacher, brass coach jazz clinician, jazz adjudicator and composer in residence. Brandon currently keeps up an active performing, composing educating and recording career in Los Angeles, California.
