Brittney
Westover
(Private Singing & Piano)
began her formal training at the age of nine and enthusiastically sang
in talent shows, recitals, karaoke contests, and choirs. Studying at
Cal State University, Fullerton as a Vocal Performance major, she
received classical training and Brittney learned to sing in several
different languages. A desire to have a more contemporary experience in
her musical education, she then transferred to the world-renowned
Musicians' Institute in Hollywood to study Jazz, Latin, Rock,
R&B, Country, Heavy Metal, Pop, and Funk. Graduating from M.I.
earning a Bachelor of Music degree with an emphasis in Vocal
Performance, Brittney claims M.I. has broadened her horizons and
allowed her to become a more confident, well-rounded and diverse
performer. Currently studying composition and arranging techniques,
Brittney has written several original songs. Working as a
waitress/singer at Romano's Macaroni Grill in Santa Clarita for 6
years, she serenaded tables with beautiful Italian arias from classic
operas by Puccini and Verdi. She is a dedicated, knowledgeable, and
patient teacher who encourages her students to find a spark within them
and follow their dreams.
