Jennifer Brown (Music & Movin' Classes) MT-BC is a Board Certified Music Therapist who loves working with children and has developed this innovative program. She currently resides in the Santa Clarita Valley with her husband and 2 daughters. Music & Movin' is an early childhood music program serving children age's 3 months to 5 years. The age appropriate classes are designed to support and challenge emerging skills using music as the tool. Music activities have been specially developed to meet goals in improving such areas as cognitive growth, fine and gross motor skills, listening skills, academic and language skills, and social skills. Children respond to the music activities powerfully and with enthusiasm - not realizing that developmental skills are being improved as they partake in the fun of it all! Parents are included in all classes with the understanding that a parent is a child's first and best teacher. These "parent and me" classes facilitate a learning environment that is nurturing to the children enrolled.
