 From
day one, Kate's strive for music has been present. Through Jr. High
School, she was first chair honor band on trumpet. Today she continues
to play with friends andhelp out in local ska bands. She attends West
Ranch High School and is an honor student with favorite subjects being
science and music. Kate plays West Ranch Girls Basketball and is the
captain of her team, providing leadership skills and responsibility for
her peers. Other activities include attending Deaf Gatherings for her
American Sign Language Interpretation class, concerts, and tutoring
services. She loves to be surrounded by different people and when she
is older, she hopes to travel. Future aspirations include working in
the medical field and finding ways to give to her community.
