Liz Watts (Hip Hop, Princess Ballet, Combo Ballet/Tap, Preschool Singing and Acting) has worked with music groups such as Black Eyed Peas, Pink, Destiny's Child, Beyonce, Ricky Martin, Shaggy and Brian McKnight. She attended L.A. County High School of The Performing Arts where she studied music theory, voice and participated in the Gospel, Classical and Musical Theatre groups. It was there Liz learned of the discipline and sacrifice it takes to be in "show biz". "Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments." After high school she studied at both Pasadena City College and UCLA in the theatre department, concentrating on theatre, music and communications. Dancing with Salsa Brava, for two years traveling to Miami, Puerto Rico and New York for competitions, performances and teaching. She was the pioneer of the first all ladies dance team to perform in the salsa field, with ladies leading ladies. She is also known for her outstanding solo performance during the Mayan Competition which ended in a standing ovation...her partner failed to show and as Liz says "When I make a commitment, I see it through to the end." The following year in Washington D.C., Liz and her new partner took 1st place in the International Salsaweb Dance competition. On the big screen she danced in both Havana Nights and Dance With Me. Liz is thrilled to be a part of Vibe's teaching staff as it allows her to stay close to home and her young son.
